targeted at marketers, press and analysts. It has since evolved
into a free monthly ezine with email updates. Up until recently,
the site has sustained with funding from one sponsor. The redesign
has allowed for more flexibility regarding advertising and sponsorship
There are currently just under 300 regular subscribers and 45,000
average monthly page views. Based on subscriber information and
past surveys, roughly 85 percent of readers are located in the U.S.,
35 percent of those in Oregon. A large majority (68 percent) has
used the Internet for over 3 years. An estimated 45 percent of site
visitors are employed with an agencies or Internet-related companies
in sales, marketing or advertising. Senior and executive management
are the second most common positions (at 14 percent). Nearly 60
percent of readers access Anvil from work.
