Kent Lewis, President, Anvil Meda, Inc.
With a background in integrated marketing, Lewis left a public relations agency in 1996 to start his Internet marketing career at a Web developer. Since then, he has focused on helping clients solve business problems via the Internet. Lewis founded Anvil Media, Inc. in 2000 to help client’s enhance their Web site performance, increase their visibility and generate sales online. Past clients include Mendocino County Alliance, PacifiCorp, Salu and Tweak Interactive. In recent years, he’s worked at Portland full-service agencies including Young & Roehr Group, Wave Rock Communications and KVO. He was also Director of Marketing and Business Development at goodguys.com, an online electronics retailer. Lewis is Editor-in-Chief of Anvil, a free monthly lifestyle e-zine. He frequently speaks about Internet and marketing-related issues and has been quoted in numerous industry publications. Lewis is adjunct professor at Portland State University and sits on the boards for Internet Professionals Northwest and Oregon Creative Services Alliance.
